Russian Solitaire: how a round works
Use a short break to learn the rhythm of Russian Solitaire. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Use the example below to understand a decision. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Look at what changes after your first action.
Yukon-style deal, same-suit building, no stock. Free solo play, no wagering.
A focus for your next round
Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal. Make the next step deliberately.
What counts as success
Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Keep the controls in easy reach.
The order of play
- Move any face-up card and its tail onto the next higher rank of the same suit. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Your inputs
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.
A useful example
A heart 6 fits a heart 7, not a spade 7. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Keep the controls nearby.
Avoid this misunderstanding
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart.
